Pakodas are a delicious Indian crisp fried snack and popular street food across India. Pakodas usually eaten during Winter & monsoon season. And especially during monsoon what to say !! Let's make a pakodas of the cabbage and Onion.
Ingredients:
- Cabbage (chopped)-1 Medium
- Onion (finely chopped)-2 BIG
- 2 Green chili Mirch (Finely chopped)
- Ginger and Garlic paste-1 small spoon
- Turmeric Powder-1 small spoon
- 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain(Optional)
- Flour (Besan)-2 Cup
- Rice Flour-2 TSP
- Sugar-1 Small Spoon (optional)
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves (Dhania)
- Salt as needed
- Oil for deep frying as per requirement
How To Make:
1. Wash cabbage & Onion properly.
2. The cabbage & onion Finely chopped.
3. Now add them to a bowl along with coriander leaves, garlic &ginger paste, Green chili , turmeric powder salt and other herbs.
4. Now mix well & keep aside for 10 minutes.
5. Add the gram flour and rice flour with the Ajwain.
6. Mix well to make a stiff dough.
7. Now heat oil in a deep pan with on a medium flame.
8. When the oil is hot check it hot or not enough with the slide portion of Dough.
9. Now drop the small shots of the mixture of fritters, in the hot oil on medium heat, fry the pakodas until the lightly golden.
Now your fritters is ready to serve.Serve it with Masala Tea or Green chutney or ketchup.
